FORTY FINGERS “from Serbia to Italy”
Music to see

The event, besides
being an international launching opportunity for young
pianists,it is an opportunity to compare in a wider and
articulate way the different international musical cultures:
European and Continental ones.
For the edition
2008/2009 the cultural exchange will be between Serbia and
Italy: the performances will take place in the Serbian
Embassy in Rome and at Antico Casale di Colle
Ionci in Velletri(Roma).
Music to see!
The format provides that the musical performances are video
screened live. But "to see" are also the videoclips made in
Belgrade that will be screened before each concert in order
to show the musical education and carreer of these young
pianists and to catch some aspects regarding their musical
identities.
The four Serbian
pianists are: Vladimir Gligorić,
Marija Gođevac, Noemi Görög,
Mihajlo Zurković.
Next step of this
project is the "mission" of four young Italian pianists:
Marco Ciampi, Sara Dominici, Gabriele Sarandrea e Leone
Keith Tuccinardi who will perform in Belgrade next
spring.
Different values
are at stake so to promote the dialogue and the cultural
exchange at more levels: the quoted video documents, master
classes, new,original musical proposals striven for
increasing the value of overwhelmed repertoires (it will be
an opportunity to listen to pages of Serbian composers to
discover).
The musical review
will be recorded and broadcasted by Radio Vaticana that will
dedicate to it a specific series of transmissions; the same
will happen with the concerts of Italians in Serbia, that
will be replayed by RTS (Serbian Radio Television) of
Belgrade.
In 2009 will start
the contest to identify the future Forty Fingers for the
national edition in 2010;the same ones will also be the
protagonists of the next international review.
But there is still
"to see"! As a matter of fact this experience will be
documented and will become a film-documentary directed
by Luca Pizzurro.But it is better not to let you see
more,so,we wish you a good listening for now!
